Sensing & Metrology

Quantum sensing and metrology: what the instruments measure, where they beat classical equipment, and how to evaluate a vendor claim.

Quantum sensing is the quietest of the quantum technologies and the closest to deployment. Magnetometers, gravimeters, atomic clocks and quantum imaging are already in use in navigation, medical imaging, resource surveying and defense. The procurement questions are ordinary engineering questions about sensitivity, drift, size and cost.

Quantum Sensing Fundamentals covers what the instruments measure, the physics that gives them their advantage, where that advantage is real, and how to read a specification sheet against a classical baseline. It is written for engineers, procurement teams and technical leaders who have to evaluate quantum sensing before buying it. More programs in this domain are in development. Email training@quantumacademy.com if you need something specific before they arrive.
