The Capstone Post-Quantum Credential

The PQCX designation recognizes professionals who have demonstrated competence across all three specialized areas of PQC migration: program leadership (PQCM), architecture and design (PQCA), and verification and validation (PQCV). PQCX has no training and no exam of its own, and we award it automatically to anyone who holds all three specialized post-quantum certifications at the same time.

What PQCX Represents

A PQCX credential holder has passed four certification exams (PQCS, PQCM, PQCA, and PQCV) and has demonstrated competence across the full PQC migration lifecycle:

  • PQC migration assessment, algorithm evaluation, and planning (PQCS)
  • Migration program governance, compliance, and organizational leadership (PQCM)
  • PQC architecture design, algorithm selection, and hybrid implementation (PQCA)
  • Implementation testing, verification, and migration sign-off (PQCV)

How to Earn the PQCX

PQCX is automatically awarded when you hold active certifications in all three specialized areas:

  1. PQCS – Post-Quantum Certified Specialist (foundational, required for all three)
  2. PQCM – Post-Quantum Certified Manager
  3. PQCA – Post-Quantum Certified Architect
  4. PQCV – Post-Quantum Certified Validator

The three specialized certifications can be earned in any order. When all three are active simultaneously, PQCX is granted automatically. No additional training, examination, or fee is required.

Maintaining the PQCX

PQCX remains active as long as all three underlying specialized certifications remain active. If any of the three expires and is not renewed, the PQCX designation is suspended until the expired credential is restored. The PQCX has no exam, fee, or CPE requirement of its own. You maintain it by maintaining the three specialized credentials.
