The tracks
Each track addresses a distinct professional domain. Start where your work takes you. Credentials within a track build on each other, and credentials across tracks are independent. Most are earned by proctored exam. The leadership credential is earned by capstone assessment instead.
Post-Quantum Track
Assess, plan, design, and verify the migration from classical cryptography to post-quantum standards. Five credentials from foundational specialist to capstone expert.
For professionals who design PQC migration solutions. Validates competence in cryptographic architecture assessment, algorithm selection for specific contexts, hybrid implementation design, and migration pattern evaluation.
For professionals who lead PQC migration programs. Validates competence in migration governance, regulatory compliance, organizational readiness, cross-functional coordination, and program execution.
The entry-level PQC credential. Validates your ability to assess cryptographic vulnerabilities, evaluate post-quantum algorithm options, and contribute to PQC migration efforts. Required before pursuing any specialized post-quantum certification.
For professionals who verify PQC implementations. Validates competence in implementation testing, hybrid verification, interoperability validation, performance benchmarking, and migration conformance.
The highest designation in the Post-Quantum Certified program. Automatically awarded to professionals who hold active PQCM, PQCA, and PQCV certifications simultaneously. No additional training, examination, or fee.
Quantum Technology Track
Evaluate, integrate, and design quantum computing and quantum networking solutions for enterprise and government environments.
For professionals who design quantum networking solutions for enterprise and government environments. Validates competence in QKD system evaluation, key management integration, and hybrid network architecture.
Validates understanding of quantum networking and QKD technology at a level sufficient for informed evaluation, deployment planning, and security analysis.
For professionals who integrate quantum computing into enterprise infrastructure. Validates competence in quantum-HPC integration, workflow design, cloud architecture, and production quantum operations.
Validates your ability to evaluate quantum computing technologies, assess organizational readiness, and make informed recommendations about quantum computing adoption. The entry point for the quantum computing certification track.
Quantum Computing Security Track
A distinct challenge from post-quantum cryptography. This track addresses the cybersecurity of quantum computers themselves: their control systems, firmware, cloud interfaces, and supply chains.
The first credential addressing cybersecurity of quantum computers themselves. Validates competence in securing classical control systems, firmware, cloud interfaces, HPC integration layers, cryogenic infrastructure, and supply chains.
Quantum Leadership Track
For the executive accountable for quantum across an organization: what to adopt, what to defend against, and what to ignore. The opportunity side spans computing, networking, and sensing. The risk side is post-quantum migration, sponsored and governed at executive level and delivered by the security and IT teams who run it.
The leadership credential. Certifies that its holder can own quantum as a portfolio, deciding what an organization adopts, what it defends against, and what it funds, then defending that plan to a board. Earned by capstone assessment rather than a written exam.
Process
Two assessment routes. Which one applies depends on what the credential claims: a proctored exam where the claim is technical competence, a capstone where the claim is judgement exercised over a whole organization.
PQCS, PQCM, PQCA, PQCV, CQTP, CQSI, CQNE, CQNA, and QCSP. PQCX is awarded automatically once its three underlying credentials are all active, with no exam and no fee of its own.

A timed, scenario-based assessment of applied competence, taken under exam rules.

Credentials require annual maintenance (US$149/year for all active credentials) and renewal through CPEs or re-examination.
CCQO. There is no written exam. The capstone is built on a simulated organization supplied by Quantum Academy, so no candidate is ever asked to submit confidential material from their employer.
Attend the cohort program live online or in person. The capstone brief and the marking rubric are issued at enrollment, not at submission.
A quantum strategy and roadmap for the simulated organization, developed across the program and submitted after the final session.
Two assessors from the board of instructors mark against the published rubric. Neither taught your cohort. A third settles any disagreement.
Within ten business days of submission. A clarification round may be used, which pauses that clock. One resubmission is available on a fail.
The same terms as every other credential: US$149 a year covers all credentials held, renewed on a three-year cycle.
Recertification
A credential should show what someone can do now, not what they could do three years ago. Credential holders renew through continuing-education activity, 60 CPEs per three-year cycle with a minimum of 15 a year, or through a recertification assessment. Verification
Every credential is issued with a digital badge at a dedicated .pro domain that links to an independent verification record showing the credential, its holder, and its validity dates. Employers can also verify directly at validation@quantumacademy.com.
