Online On-Demand
Online on-demand is the fastest way to start. Enroll, and the full course is available immediately: no cohort dates, no waiting, no travel. Lessons combine text, short video segments, diagrams, and exercises, with text carrying the core content so you can move at reading speed, search it, and return to it later as a working reference.
Best for: Professionals balancing training with a full workload, learners who prefer to set their own pace, and anyone who wants to revisit material as often as needed.
How it works: Enroll online and get immediate access. Work through the lessons at your own speed, with knowledge checks along the way. Each course page lists its access period; certification training courses include 180 days from enrollment, and lab environments and exercises stay available throughout.
Included: The complete lesson sequence, knowledge checks, downloadable reference materials you keep after the access period ends, and a certificate of completion. Courses that prepare for a certification are built against the corresponding exam blueprint, so the material you study is the material the exam tests.
Availability: All courses except the in-person-only Executive Retreat.
Live Online
Live online brings the instructor to you. Cohorts meet over video on scheduled dates and work through the material together, with exercises done in real time, discussion shaped by the group, and questions answered the moment they arise.
Best for: Professionals who want accountability, structure, and direct instructor access, and teams that want to train together without travel.
How it works: Register for a scheduled cohort on the training schedule. Sessions are led by the practitioners who built the curriculum, in classes kept small enough for genuine interaction rather than webinar broadcasting. Certification-track cohorts follow the exam blueprint and include dedicated time for exam strategy and how the proctored exam actually runs.
Included: All live sessions and their recordings, the same downloadable materials as the on-demand format, instructor feedback where a course has graded exercises, and 180 days of access to the corresponding online on-demand course, where one exists, so you can revisit any topic long after the cohort ends.
Availability: All paid courses except the Executive Retreat. If no listed date fits your team, private delivery runs the same course on your calendar.
In-Person
Some material is simply learned best in a room: away from the inbox, working alongside peers, with the instructor at the whiteboard. Sessions run as intensive classes, typically one to three days depending on the program, at locations announced on the training schedule.
Best for: Professionals who value immersive, distraction-free learning, hands-on work in a guided lab setting, and the peer network an in-person cohort builds.
How it works: Register for a published date and location. Sessions run in small-group format, and the instructor follows the thread of who is in the room: a cohort of financial-services engineers takes the material in a different direction than a room of government security assessors. For certification courses, many sessions pair training with a proctored exam sitting in the same week, noted on the course page where offered.
Included: Printed and digital course materials you keep, lab access, refreshments, and 180 days of access to the corresponding online on-demand course, where one exists, so the material stays with you after the session. In-person seats carry the highest price of the three public formats; the exact figure appears on each course page.
Availability: All paid courses, including the in-person-only Executive Retreat.
Private Team Training
When five or more people need the same training, private delivery is usually the better format and often the better economics. We run any program in our catalog for your organization alone, and we can combine several programs into a single engagement: online, at your location, or hybrid, on dates you choose.
Best for: Organizations training multiple people at once, teams that want examples and exercises grounded in their own environment, and organizations building internal quantum or PQC capability.
How it works: The core curriculum and its standards stay fixed; that consistency is what makes the resulting skills and certifications comparable across organizations. Around that core, sessions adapt to you: examples draw on your sector, exercises can reference your architecture and constraints under NDA, and scheduling follows your operational calendar, including split days, half-day blocks, and follow-up clinics. Multi-course programs that take a team from foundations through certification are priced as a package.
Included: Agreed per engagement, and typically everything the public formats include plus tailored materials. On-demand course access for participants is arranged as part of the engagement. Procurement-friendly documentation, including course outlines, instructor credentials, and standard terms, is available on request.

Certification exams
Training format and exam format are independent. However you train, certification exams are delivered through proctored assessment: online with a live proctor, or in person at authorized testing centers worldwide. You can train on-demand and sit your exam online, or train in person and test at a center, in any combination. Where an in-person training session offers a same-week exam sitting, the course page says so.
Choosing a format
Most individuals start online on-demand and add a live cohort where the material warrants it. Most certification candidates who can travel prefer the in-person route with the exam in the same week. And most organizations training a full team find private delivery both cheaper per person and more useful, because the sessions can reference their own environment.
