Quantum sensing gets the least attention of the quantum technologies and is the closest to deployment. Magnetometers, gravimeters, atomic clocks and quantum imaging are already in use in navigation, medical imaging, resource surveying and defense. The procurement questions are ordinary engineering questions about sensitivity, drift, size and cost. Quantum radar is the exception. Vendors still market it for long-range detection, and researchers have published experiments with targets about a meter away. We teach you to measure the gap between a sensor’s claimed and demonstrated performance.
Quantum Sensing Fundamentals covers what the instruments measure and where their physical advantage is real. It also covers how to compare a specification sheet with a classical baseline. It is written for engineers, procurement teams and technical leaders who have to evaluate quantum sensing before buying it. Four industry courses cover quantum sensing for their sectors: health and life sciences, energy and utilities, government and defense, and automotive and manufacturing. Email training@quantumacademy.com if you need a course for another sector.
