Quantum Academy is a training and certification organization for quantum technology professionals. We offer courses and professional certifications in post-quantum cryptography, quantum computing, quantum networking, quantum sensing, and quantum technology leadership. Quantum Academy is an education and certification brand of Post-Quantum Institute, a Delaware corporation.

Every program is written and reviewed by hands-on practitioners with direct field experience. They have led cryptographic migrations, built and assembled quantum computers from modular components, deployed QKD solutions and quantum networks, and evaluated quantum platforms inside large enterprises. Before a course goes live, it is reviewed by a panel of senior industry advisors with subject-matter expertise.

It’s our motto. In every course, we teach you to compare what is claimed about quantum technology with what has been demonstrated, and to plan from the difference. We apply the same test to claims that overstate the technology and to claims that dismiss it, from quantum radar to post-quantum deadlines. Measure the gap has examples from every field we teach.

Quantum Academy certifications are private professional credentials. They are not government-issued licenses, accredited academic degrees, or academic credit. Holders use them to show employers and clients that they have passed a proctored, scenario-based assessment of applied competence.

It depends on the course. Executive and awareness courses, sector courses, and most quantum technology courses require no technical or physics background. Certification training courses and technical deep-dives assume relevant professional experience, which is noted on each course page under Prerequisites.

A course is a training program that teaches a subject. A certification is a credential you earn by passing a proctored exam, which validates your competence. Some courses prepare you for a specific certification exam. Others are standalone professional development. Certification pages explain the path to each credential.

Enroll in on-demand courses online through the Quantum Academy learning platform. For a scheduled live online or in-person session, register from the course page or the training schedule. For private team training, contact training@quantumacademy.com.

Most courses are available online on-demand, live online, in person, and as private team training delivered online or at your location. Live online and in-person bookings include 180 days of access to the corresponding online on-demand course. See How We Deliver Training for a full comparison.

Certification exams are proctored. Depending on the program, the date, your location, and demand, Quantum Academy may supervise your sitting over video. An approved proctoring provider may supervise it instead, online or at a test center where one is available. We tell you exactly what applies to your sitting when you book, and the Candidate Guide sets out the range. The exams use scenario-based and multiple-choice questions that test applied competence. Your training format and your exam arrangement are independent. You can train in any format and sit the exam under whichever arrangement applies to your booking.

Yes. The training course for each credential is a prerequisite for its exam, and we check every booking before the sitting. If you think your experience should count instead, email support@quantumacademy.com before you book. Exceptions are at our discretion, and we reply within five business days. Where a certification also requires another credential, the certification page lists it.

The Post-Quantum Track requires PQCS before the specialized PQCM, PQCA, and PQCV certifications. The Quantum Technology Track requires CQTP before CQSI, and CQNE before CQNA. QCSP is standalone. Each certification page lists its specific prerequisites.

PQCX (Post-Quantum Certified Expert) is the capstone credential of the Post-Quantum Track. It is awarded automatically, with no additional exam or fee, when you hold active PQCM, PQCA, and PQCV certifications at the same time. See the PQCX page for details.

All prices are in US dollars (USD).

Yes. Most certifications have a training-plus-exam bundle that costs less than buying the parts separately. Track bundles (such as the Post-Quantum Complete Track and the Quantum Computing Bundle) offer further savings. Bundle pricing is shown on each course and certification page.

Quantum Academy certifications are valid for three years. They require an annual maintenance fee of US$149, which covers all your active Quantum Academy credentials. You recertify each cycle through continuing professional education (CPE) credits or re-examination. The Candidate Guide sets out what counts as a CPE credit and how you report it.

Yes. Our live online and in-person courses and our free webinars earn CPE credits, one for each 60 minutes of teaching. You claim them with ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA, GIAC, PMI or another certifying body, and your certificate shows your minutes and credits. Our CPE credits page explains how to claim them.

Membership is optional. It gives you ongoing access to courses, recertification support, member resources, and program discounts. It also includes the annual maintenance fee for your active credentials. For professionals maintaining a certification, membership is usually the most economical way to stay current. Refund terms depend on the product type and are set out in our Refund Policy, linked in the footer of every page. Statutory withdrawal rights are preserved where they apply.
