Certified Chief Quantum Officer (CCQO) Program – Live Online, November 2026 – January 2027

The first Chief Quantum Officer Program cohort runs live online across six Saturday sessions, from November 2026 to January 2027.

The program is built for the executive who owns quantum inside an organization, or who is about to. It covers quantum technology as a whole, with computing, networking, and sensing on the opportunity side and post-quantum cryptographic migration on the risk side, and it treats all of it as a portfolio to be funded, governed, and defended rather than as a set of technologies to be understood in isolation.

Assessment is a capstone project rather than a written exam. Participants build a quantum strategy and three-year roadmap for a simulated multinational that we supply, and two assessors from our board of instructors mark it independently against a rubric issued at enrollment. Neither assessor will have taught the cohort. Passing awards the CCQO credential.

Session dates

All sessions run 15:00 to 19:00 Central European Time, which is 09:00 to 13:00 Eastern Time in New York.

Saturday, November 7, 2026 – Reading the field Saturday, November 14, 2026 – Where the value is, and where it isn’t Saturday, November 21, 2026 – Quantum readiness as an operating capability Saturday, December 5, 2026 – The risk side Saturday, December 12, 2026 – Governance, funding, and the board Saturday, January 9, 2027 – Capstone workshop

The break between December 12 and January 9 is deliberate, and it is when most of the capstone work gets done. Capstone submissions are due two weeks after the final session.

What is included

All six live sessions. The course handbook, which is the full program written out with the instructor notes in place. All three Quantum Academy reference texts, Quantum Ready, Quantum Systems Integration, and Quantum Sovereignty. The capstone brief and marking rubric, issued at enrollment. Independent assessment by two members of the board of instructors, with results inside ten business days. On a pass, the CCQO credential and a verifiable badge at ccqo.pro.

Cohort and confirmation

This cohort runs as scheduled. The eight-participant minimum that applies to other scheduled Quantum Academy courses does not apply here, and the dates above are confirmed at the point of sale rather than 21 days out.

Places are limited to keep the cohort small enough for every participant to present their capstone work and take live critique in the final session.

Joining instructions and the capstone brief go out on enrollment rather than seven days before the start, so participants can begin reading immediately.

The CCQO is a private professional credential issued by Quantum Academy, a trade name of Post-Quantum Institute. It is not a government-issued license, an accredited degree, or academic credit, and holding it does not guarantee employment, promotion, regulatory approval, or any other specific outcome.
