Post-Quantum Certified Architect (PQCA) Training – Live Online, May 2027

Four days of instructor-led preparation for the Post-Quantum Certified Architect credential: cryptographic architecture, protocol design decisions, and agility engineering.

Built for those who are responsible for selecting algorithms and designing implementations for PQC migration, who need to design PKI migration strategies for enterprise certificate infrastructures, and who must evaluate hybrid implementation approaches and decide which pattern fits your environment.

What you will cover

• Assess existing cryptographic architectures for quantum vulnerability, mapping every cryptographic dependency and trust relationship
• Select PQC algorithms for specific deployment contexts based on performance characteristics, key and signature sizes, security assumptions
• Design hybrid implementation architectures for both key exchange and digital signatures, selecting between concatenation, combiner
• Evaluate migration patterns – in-place upgrade, parallel deployment, and gateway-based – for different system types and risk profiles
• Design PKI migration strategies including dual-certificate hierarchies, cross-signed trust anchors, and HSM upgrade paths
• Assess certificate chain-size consequences of post-quantum certificates and design mitigations

The format

Four days, 09:00 to 16:30 each day: 24 hours of instruction, six hours of teaching daily within a schedule that includes breaks. Included: Course handbook, 180 days of access to the online on-demand course, certificate of completion.

Prerequisite: Active PQCS – Post-Quantum Certified Specialist certification.

The PQCA certification exam is not included and is booked separately.
