Post-Quantum Certified Specialist (PQCS) Training – Live Online, February 2027
Four days of instructor-led preparation for the Post-Quantum Certified Specialist credential: cryptographic inventory, algorithm selection, hybrid deployment, and migration execution.
Built for those who are responsible for assessing your organization’s cryptographic posture or quantum exposure, who need to evaluate PQC algorithm options for systems you build, maintain, or secure, and who will contribute to PQC migration planning, even if you are not leading the program.
What you will cover
- Conduct a cryptographic inventory across code, certificates, protocols, infrastructure
- Build a Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) that identifies every cryptographic asset, its algorithm, its key length, and its exposure profile
- Score and prioritize cryptographic assets for migration based on quantum risk, business criticality, and migration complexity
- Evaluate each NIST standardized PQC algorithm
- Assess HQC (the code-based KEM NIST selected in March 2025, now in standardization) and its role in hedging against lattice-based risk
- Design hybrid implementation approaches for key exchange (combining classical and post-quantum algorithms) and digital signatures
The format
Four days, 09:00 to 16:30 each day: 24 hours of instruction, six hours of teaching daily within a schedule that includes breaks. Included: Course handbook, 180 days of access to the online on-demand course, certificate of completion.
Full outline, modules, and delivery details are on the course page, together with a justification letter you can adapt if you need internal approval to attend: Post-Quantum Certified Specialist (PQCS) Training.
Prerequisite: Post-Quantum Foundation course (certificate of attendance required).
The PQCS certification exam is not included and is booked separately.
Our confirmation guarantee. This course needs eight participants. If it has not reached eight twenty-one days before the start date, we cancel it, refund you in full, and add a credit toward any course at the same price or lower. If you do not hear from us, the course is going ahead.
Quantum Academy certifications are private, professional credentials issued by Post-Quantum Institute. They are not government-issued licenses, accredited academic degrees, or academic credit, and earning one does not guarantee employment, promotion, or any regulatory outcome. This training is educational and informational, and is not legal, compliance, or engineering advice.
