Post-Quantum Certified Specialist (PQCS) Training – Live Online (Americas), January 2027
Four days of instructor-led preparation for the Post-Quantum Certified Specialist credential: cryptographic inventory, algorithm selection, hybrid deployment, and migration execution.
Security professionals, IT architects, software developers, cryptography practitioners, systems engineers, and technical consultants who want to build verified PQC competence. It suits professionals who hold or are pursuing roles in security engineering, security architecture, application security, infrastructure security, or technical consulting.
What you will cover
- Conduct a cryptographic inventory using established methodologies, including the Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) approach
- Evaluate each finalized NIST PQC standard (ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA), and FN-DSA in draft, for specific use cases based on security properties, performance characteristics, and implementation constraints
- Explain hybrid key exchange and hybrid signature approaches and articulate when each is appropriate
- Identify cryptographic dependencies across protocols (TLS, SSH, IPsec, S/MIME, code signing, PKI) and assess their PQC migration requirements
- Apply a structured risk-assessment framework to prioritize cryptographic assets for migration
- Develop a preliminary PQC migration roadmap for a defined scope
