Quantum Computing Engineer

For engineers and architects who evaluate, program and integrate quantum computers. Earn CQTP, learn to program and operate the hardware, then earn CQSI.

We list your industry’s Quantum Technology course first. In it, you learn which use cases organizations in your sector fund and how far each has progressed.

CQTP validates that you can evaluate quantum computing technologies for enterprise and government use. It has no prerequisite. CQSI validates that you can integrate quantum computing into existing infrastructure, and it requires an active CQTP.

Between the two certifications, we recommend two practical courses. In Hands-On Quantum Programming, you build and run circuits with open-source SDKs and finish with a run on real hardware. Working Python experience helps but is not required. In Building and Operating Quantum Computers, you learn the cryogenics, control electronics and HPC integration that an installation requires.

    The first credential for this role. You evaluate hardware modalities, algorithms, cloud platforms and integration challenges.

  3. Hands-On Quantum Programming

  • Quantum Computing Security For security professionals who protect quantum computing infrastructure or assess the quantum threat to cryptography.
  • Quantum Network Engineer For network, telecom and security engineers who evaluate, design and deploy QKD and quantum networks.
  • Quantum Strategy Lead For CTOs, CIOs and heads of strategy or innovation who own quantum as an opportunity and a risk.
