100-day certificates from March 15, and the path to post-quantum certificates – Free Webinar
A free one-hour webinar from Quantum Academy and Applied Quantum on shorter TLS certificate lifetimes, and the changes post-quantum certificates will need.
Under CA/Browser Forum ballot SC-081, public TLS certificates issued from March 15, 2027 can be valid for at most 100 days. From March 15, 2029, the limit is 47 days.
Chrome is also testing Merkle Tree Certificates with Cloudflare, a format meant to reduce the bandwidth cost of post-quantum HTTPS. We cover certificate automation, key rotation and the PKI changes that post-quantum certificates need.
For PKI and certificate management teams, platform engineers, and security architects responsible for public-facing services.
