US federal PQC deadlines: what EO 14412, OMB M-26-15 and CNSA 2.0 require – Free Webinar

Executive Order 14412, signed on June 22, 2026, covers federal high-value and high-impact systems. They need post-quantum key establishment by December 31, 2030 and post-quantum signatures by December 31, 2031. The order also directs the FAR Council to propose PQC rules for contractors.
Agencies’ migration plans under OMB M-26-15 were due on October 22. Earlier that month, GAO found that none of the 24 CFO Act agencies had fully addressed all three preparatory practices. From January 1, 2027, new National Security System acquisitions must be CNSA 2.0 compliant.
