Six Saturday sessions, live online from November 2026 to January 2027, end in an independently marked capstone and the CCQO credential

CHICAGO, October 15, 2026 – The first cohort of Quantum Academy’s Certified Chief Quantum Officer (CCQO) Program will meet live online on six Saturdays from November 7, 2026, to January 9, 2027. Each session takes place from 14:00 to 18:00 UTC, which is 09:00 to 13:00 in New York and 15:00 to 19:00 in Frankfurt.

The live online program costs US$8,499, which includes the six sessions, the capstone assessment and the CCQO credential. It is written for executives who own quantum technology in their organization, or are about to, including CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, heads of strategy and innovation, and board members.

“In the model I recommend, the person in that seat owns the organization’s whole quantum portfolio and works alongside the CIO, the CISO and the business owners rather than replacing them,” said Marin Ivezic, founder of Quantum Academy.

The program treats computing, networking and sensing as opportunities and post-quantum migration as a risk. Its six sessions cover reading the field, where the value is, quantum readiness as an operating capability, the risk side, governance and funding, and a final capstone workshop.

Assessment is a capstone, not a written exam. Participants build a quantum strategy and three-year roadmap for a simulated multinational that Quantum Academy supplies, and submit it two weeks after the final session. Two assessors from the board of instructors who did not teach the cohort mark each submission independently against a rubric issued at enrollment, and results follow within ten business days.

Passing awards the CCQO credential and a verifiable badge at ccqo.pro. Participants receive the course handbook and copies of Quantum Ready and Quantum Systems Integration, both written by Marin Ivezic, and Quantum Sovereignty, which he co-wrote with Luka Ivezic.

The program page has the full session outline, the capstone terms and a justification letter for internal approval. Organizations can request a private executive cohort at training@quantumacademy.com.
