A two-hour course on getting post-quantum migration funded, from cost estimates to the case a CFO will accept
CHICAGO, October 13, 2026 – Quantum Academy will teach PQC Migration: Building the Business Case, a two-hour course on funding a post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration, live online on November 12, 2026, from 17:30 to 19:30 UTC for participants in the Americas. A live online seat costs US$379.
The course is written for CISOs, security program managers and anyone responsible for securing PQC migration funding. It also suits CFOs, finance leaders and budget committee members who want to understand what they are being asked to fund.
In the first hour, participants estimate migration costs across discovery, planning, implementation, verification and operations, and express harvest-now-decrypt-later exposure in financial terms. In the second, they frame multi-year funding to fit annual budget cycles, use regulatory deadlines and insurance expectations as budget anchors, and calculate the cost of each year of delay.
Participants apply the business case template included with the course to their own organization. They receive the course handbook, a PDF copy of Quantum Ready, Marin Ivezic’s book on organizational readiness on which the course is based, and a certificate of completion.
Earlier the same day, from 15:00 to 17:00 UTC, Quantum Academy teaches Quantum Security for Boards, a two-hour briefing for directors. A session of the business case course for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific follows on November 26, 2026, from 09:30 to 11:30 UTC.
