Quantum Academy
A two-hour briefing for directors on quantum risk, fiduciary exposure and the questions to put to management
CHICAGO, October 12, 2026 – Quantum Academy will teach Quantum Security for Boards, a two-hour briefing for board members, live online on November 12, 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00 UTC for participants in the Americas. A live online seat costs US$449.
The briefing is written for non-executive directors, board members, audit and risk committee members, and corporate secretaries who prepare board materials on technology risk. It assumes no technical background.
In the first hour, participants examine quantum risk in governance terms, including regulatory deadlines, fiduciary duty, risk appetite, and cyber insurance questionnaires that have started to ask about quantum readiness. In the second, they cover oversight, including the questions to put to management about discovery, vendor dependency and verification, how to read a migration status update, and when to address quantum risk in disclosures.
Participants receive the course handbook, a PDF copy of Quantum Ready, Marin Ivezic’s book on organizational readiness on which the briefing is based, and a certificate of completion.
On the same day, from 17:30 to 19:30 UTC, Quantum Academy teaches PQC Migration: Building the Business Case, which covers the funding case a board will be asked to approve. A session of the briefing for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific follows on November 26, 2026, from 07:00 to 09:00 UTC.
