Security professionals work from Foundation level through the full Post-Quantum Certified Specialist exam blueprint in 20 hours of live online training, with the exam included, on Saturday mornings, over three full days or on Sundays
CHICAGO, November 3, 2026 – Quantum Academy will teach the first cohorts of the Post-Quantum Certified Specialist (PQCS) Bootcamp, which condenses Post-Quantum Foundation and PQCS Training into 20 hours, live online from November 14, 2026. Instructors teach the same nine modules in every cohort. A live online seat costs US$3,329 and includes the PQCS certification exam.
Participants in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific who want to keep their working days free can join the Saturday cohort. It meets from 08:00 to 10:30 UTC on November 14 and 28 and December 5, 12 and 19, 2026, and on January 16, 23 and 30, 2027. That is 09:00 to 11:30 in Frankfurt and 16:00 to 18:30 in Singapore.
Participants who prefer to set aside three full days can meet from November 19 to 21, 2026, Thursday to Saturday, or from December 28 to 30, 2026, Monday to Wednesday. Both three-day cohorts meet from 07:00 to 15:00 UTC, which is 08:00 to 16:00 in Frankfurt, 11:00 to 19:00 in Dubai and 15:00 to 23:00 in Singapore. Each day has six hours and 40 minutes of teaching within an eight-hour schedule that includes lunch and breaks.
A cohort for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait meets on four Sundays, November 22 and 29 and December 6 and 13, 2026, from 09:00 to 15:00 in Riyadh and Kuwait City, which is 06:00 to 12:00 UTC. Each Sunday has five hours of teaching and one hour of breaks.
The Bootcamp is written for security professionals who want to compress their preparation into immersive, instructor-led training, and for teams that want to build shared post-quantum competence as a cohort. It has no formal prerequisite. Quantum Academy teaches the Foundation material at a faster pace than the separate course and recommends the Bootcamp for learners who already know the basics of cryptography and the quantum threat. Learners new to both get 28 live hours instead of 20 by taking Post-Quantum Foundation and PQCS Training separately.
Instructors teach nine modules. Participants begin with the quantum threat to RSA and elliptic-curve cryptography, the regulatory drivers and the NIST post-quantum standards, including ML-KEM (formerly CRYSTALS-Kyber) and ML-DSA (formerly CRYSTALS-Dilithium). They then work through cryptographic inventory, hybrid implementations, protocol migration and program planning. They also learn the project, change and vendor management basics of running a migration, and finish with cryptographic agility.
Participants work on one simulated migration program throughout the Bootcamp. They inventory a sample environment and build a Cryptographic Bill of Materials from it. In the labs, they configure hybrid TLS and test post-quantum protocol configurations. By the end of the Bootcamp, each participant has a migration roadmap and a project plan for the simulated program.
After the Bootcamp, participants are eligible to sit the PQCS certification exam, which their seat includes and which they book separately. Instructors teach the full PQCS exam blueprint in every format. Quantum Academy advises that candidates already working in cryptographic migration often need little further study, and that candidates newer to the material plan for 20 to 40 hours of independent study. Every exam is proctored, and Quantum Academy confirms the arrangements for each sitting when the candidate books.
“Some people preparing for PQCS can spare a few hours a week, and others would rather finish in three days, so we teach the Bootcamp both ways, with a Sunday cohort that fits the working week in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait,” said Marin Ivezic, founder of Quantum Academy.
Participants receive the course handbook, a PDF copy of Quantum Ready, Marin Ivezic’s book on PQC migration, and 180 days of on-demand access. They also receive a certificate of completion, which is separate from the PQCS certification. Holders of the PQCS credential can go on to Post-Quantum Certified Architect (PQCA) Training or Post-Quantum Certified Manager (PQCM) Training, depending on their role. In the Bootcamp’s management module, participants learn the basics of the topics that PQCM Training covers in depth.
Quantum Academy will teach further Bootcamp cohorts in 2027. Three-day cohorts meet from March 17 to 19 and June 3 to 5 for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, and from July 12 to 14 for the Americas. Saturday cohorts start on February 6 for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific and on April 3 for the Americas. Sunday cohorts for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait start on January 17, April 11 and June 13.
The course page lists every cohort and has the full outline and a justification letter for internal approval. Teams can request private training at training@quantumacademy.com.
