Quantum Academy spreads the 24 hours of Post-Quantum Certified Specialist training over twelve two-hour live online sessions, for one cohort in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific and one in the Americas
CHICAGO, October 22, 2026 – Quantum Academy will teach two cohorts of Post-Quantum Certified Specialist (PQCS) Training live online from November 3, 2026, each in twelve two-hour sessions. The EMEA and Asia-Pacific cohort meets from 12:00 to 14:00 UTC until January 8, 2027. The Americas cohort meets from 20:00 to 22:00 UTC until January 11, 2027.
For the first cohort, sessions take place from 13:00 to 15:00 in Frankfurt, 16:00 to 18:00 in Dubai and 20:00 to 22:00 in Singapore. For the second, they take place from 15:00 to 17:00 in New York and 12:00 to 14:00 in Los Angeles. Participants attend two sessions in most teaching weeks. No sessions take place from December 19, 2026, to January 3, 2027.
A live online seat costs US$2,499 in either cohort. The price and the 24 hours of instruction are the same as in Quantum Academy’s cohorts that meet on consecutive days. We designed this training for security professionals, IT architects, software developers, cryptography practitioners, systems engineers and technical consultants.
Instructors teach the same seven modules in both formats. Participants begin by studying the quantum threat to RSA and elliptic-curve cryptography and the NIST post-quantum standards. They then work through cryptographic inventory, hybrid implementations and protocol migration before moving on to migration planning and cryptographic agility. By the final session, each participant has drafted a migration roadmap for a realistic scenario.
PQCS Training requires the certificate of completion from Post-Quantum Foundation. Learners who still need it can take the half-day course live online on October 27 for the Americas or October 29 for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, at US$529 a seat.
The PQCS certification exam is booked separately and costs US$599. Every exam is proctored, and Quantum Academy confirms the arrangements for each sitting when the candidate books. Quantum Academy publishes its rules on eligibility, booking, scoring, retakes and appeals in its Candidate Guide.
The first cohort of Post-Quantum Certified Manager (PQCM) Training follows the same weekly format, with twelve two-hour sessions from November 13, 2026, to January 28, 2027, from 15:00 to 17:00 UTC.
Participants receive the course handbook, a PDF copy of Quantum Ready, Marin Ivezic’s book on PQC migration, and a certificate of completion, which is separate from the PQCS certification. Quantum Academy will also teach PQCS Training on four consecutive days in 2027, for the Americas from January 12 to 15 and for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific from January 18 to 21 and from February 22 to 25.
