The people who lead post-quantum migration programs prepare for the Post-Quantum Certified Manager exam in twelve two-hour live online sessions, timed for Europe and the Americas
CHICAGO, October 26, 2026 – The first cohort of Quantum Academy’s Post-Quantum Certified Manager (PQCM) Training will meet live online in twelve two-hour sessions from December 8, 2026, to February 8, 2027. Every session takes place from 15:00 to 17:00 UTC, which is 15:00 to 17:00 in London, 16:00 to 18:00 in Frankfurt and 10:00 to 12:00 in New York.
A live online seat costs US$2,999 for 24 hours of instruction. We designed this training for CISOs, for security, program, project, compliance and risk managers, for senior technical leaders with current or future oversight of post-quantum migration, and for consultants who guide clients through it. Its prerequisite is an active Post-Quantum Certified Specialist certification.
Participants design the governance arrangements for a multi-year migration program, specifying who owns the migration, who approves technical decisions and who reports to the board. They map regulatory requirements to migration deliverables and a compliance calendar, including CNSA 2.0 and its January 2027 milestone for new acquisitions, the EU’s quantum-readiness initiatives, NIS2 and DORA.
Participants assess their organization’s post-quantum readiness across people, processes, technology and vendors, and plan a migration team that spans security, engineering, IT operations, procurement, legal and the business units. They practice briefing executives and boards on quantum risk using evidence rather than fear. They also draft contract requirements for vendors that have not yet shipped post-quantum support. In the final module, participants plan pilots, rollback and the order of production migration, and the monitoring that follows each cutover.
The PQCM certification exam is booked separately and costs US$699. Candidates answer 120 multiple-choice and scenario questions in 180 minutes in a closed-book exam, and pass with a score of 700 on a scale of 100 to 900. Every exam is proctored, and Quantum Academy confirms the arrangements for each sitting when the candidate books.
PQCM is one of three specialized post-quantum credentials, with Post-Quantum Certified Architect and Post-Quantum Certified Validator. Quantum Academy awards the Post-Quantum Certified Expert credential automatically to holders of all three.
Participants receive the course handbook, a PDF copy of Quantum Ready, Marin Ivezic’s book on PQC migration, and a certificate of completion, which is separate from the PQCM certification. Quantum Academy will also teach PQCM Training on four consecutive days, from May 3 to 6, 2027, for the Americas, and from June 14 to 17, 2027, for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. The course page has the full outline and a justification letter for internal approval. Teams can request private training at training@quantumacademy.com.
