Quantum Academy
A three-hour course on PQC migration for card networks, real-time gross settlement, SWIFT and terminal fleets, taught twice on the same day
CHICAGO, October 7, 2026 – Quantum Academy will teach Quantum-Safe Payments, a three-hour course on post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration in payment systems, live online on October 28, 2026. The first session takes place from 07:00 to 10:00 UTC for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, and the second from 15:00 to 18:00 UTC for the Americas.
A live online seat costs US$379. The course is written for payment security architects, cryptography and HSM engineers, terminal and card product managers, scheme compliance leads, and the risk and audit staff who sign off on a migration plan. It suits people at issuers, acquirers, processors, card schemes, terminal manufacturers and payment service providers.
Participants assess the migration constraints specific to payment authorization flows and evaluate the card and terminal installed base against post-quantum algorithm requirements. They plan migration within card scheme timelines and certification frameworks, and sequence the work across payment HSMs, key-injection ceremonies and terminal fleets.
Participants also study lessons from BIS Project Leap Phase 2, a test of post-quantum signed liquidity transfers on Eurosystem test infrastructure. They look at the ISO 20022 messaging migration as a parallel window for modernization.
Participants receive the course handbook, a PDF copy of Quantum Ready, Marin Ivezic’s book on PQC migration, and a certificate of completion. The Quantum-Safe Payments Intensive is the full-day workshop on the same subject, and Quantum-Safe Financial Services suits staff whose work does not involve authorization flows, key management or scheme certification.
